Creating Kits - Bundles

Create a new product card as you customarily would. This will basically be the container that houses all the other products that make up your bundle.

Remember to set the Department for the Bundle, as you would for any product in CheckIn.

Under the "Bundle" tab, use the Search field (at left) to find the products you want to add to the Bundle. You'll be prompted to specify the quantities.

Click the "Bundle" button at right. You'll be prompted to specify the number of units you want to Bundle.

Note that this number cannot exceed the "OnHand" count listed for each product.

In the fields on the right you'll see Cost and Retail Value for the Bundled Items, and you'll be able to set the Retail Price.

To edit the Bundled Product, click the "Unbundle" button. This will allow you to add or remove component products, or reduce the quantity available.

We highly recommend that if you're going to make a universal change to one, or more, of the products in the bundle, you simply retire the current one, duplicate it, and make changes to the new bundle. If you're never going to sell the original any more, mark it as inactive so that it doesn't show up in search results.
